JustLiving Therapy is about just that…

Just…Living

Hi, I’m Rebecca!

I’m a philosopher, a farmer, an artist, a leadership strategist, and I’m also a licensed clinical therapist and educator. JustLiving Therapy exists to support those that are passionate about making a difference in the world. All of my work is driven by a commitment to social justice and a relationship with our landscape.

How do I view social justice? The line I continue to come back to is, “we all do better, when we all do better together.” It’s about connection and community; it’s about healing and alleviating suffering, it’s about creating a world where we all can flourish by living our most authentic lives.

So what’s the deal with landscape? Are we talkin dirt?! Yes! Absolutely! Landscape is the dirt below our feet, the air we breath, the ‘everything’ that nourishes us physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Landscape is our story, our beliefs, our narrative; which provide us with a foundation from which we live our lives. Landscape is the connection with our ancestors that came before us and the future generations to come. We exist by way of our landscape, so to better connect with our landscape, means to better connect with our own existence.

Mission and Vision

Mission: To guide highly compassionate helping professionals to find strength in their own authenticity and vision.

Vision: For all to experience the profound of just living.

Our world is ALWAYS in need of profound individuals who seek to make the world a better, kinder place for all future generations. My mission is to support those that strive to do this hard, often draining and sometimes painful work. Challenging norms of systemic oppression and racism, advocating for change, caring for those that are suffering, bearing witness and soothing wounds is not a one person job.

We do this work together, but we must support ourselves to walk this journey.

I have seen how helping professionals and change makers focus 100% of their care and support outward and leave themselves behind. My work is centered on how we can re-engage ourselves as a part of the community we serve and how reconnecting with our landscape can allow us to reconnect with our selves. I integrate anti-oppression, landscape integration, systems theory, neurobiology, yoga philosophy, and natural seasoning into my programs to create real change that moves you closer to the real you, so you can actualize your desired impact.

Just…

As in justice, equity, holistic, based in our landscape.

Also as in “simply”….in simplicity, we find space to discover our breath, to bear witness to the profound.

Living…

Daring to discover our authentic selves.

Experience life as it exists…breath the air, pet a goat, listen to the bees, connect with one another, live our passion.

JustLiving

Not two separate words, but combined.

“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
